Ganesh Kumbhar — Software Engineer

I build the systems behind real-time security alerts — RabbitMQ pipelines, WebSockets and PostgreSQL serving 7,000+ intrusion panels. Python, FastAPI and React, with security and correctness designed in from the start.

01The human behind the logs

Software engineer with ~2 years of experience building production systems end to end. I design event-driven pipelines, secure APIs and bulk data workflows — and I care about clean, maintainable code that keeps working under real-world load.

Right now I work on SentrixAI, an intrusion-monitoring platform for banks, retail chains and ATM sites, where a missed or late alert is a real-world incident. Before that I spent over a year shipping MERN applications used by thousands of people every day.

I like problems that involve concurrency, correctness and scale, and fixes simple enough that the next engineer understands them at 3am.

02Commit history

~2 years shipping production systems — from MERN platforms with thousands of users to event-driven pipelines for a nationwide security-monitoring network.

  1. commit 0f3a396 (HEAD → main, tag: current)

Date: June 2026 – Present · Pune, India

    Full Stack Software Engineer

@ Integrated Active Monitoring Pvt. Ltd.

    • + Monorepo consolidation

Consolidated 40+ repositories into a single monorepo for the SentrixAI intrusion platform (7,000+ panels), extracting shared pipeline logic and isolating panel-specific event processing.

    • + Event pipeline

Built the Panel → AWS Receiver → PostgreSQL → Forwarder pipeline, splitting traffic into separate Event and Heartbeat RabbitMQ flows so critical alerts are never delayed by high-volume telemetry. Implemented the Heartbeat consumer that persists panel health to PostgreSQL.

    • + Real-time alerting

Engineered the Event RMQ → Consumer → Event Manager flow that validates and classifies events and pushes fire, door and ATM alerts over WebSockets to a CMS used by 40+ operators.

    • + Admin portal & bulk import

Developed React, FastAPI and SQLAlchemy modules, including a 9-sheet Excel import/export pipeline with dropdown validation, preview, insert/upsert and atomic commits. Fixed camera de-duplication and false “updated” detection, and authored a 60-page technical document.

    Full Stack Developer

    @ SevenMentor Corporate Services

    • + Platform delivery

Developed and maintained 5+ production MERN applications (CMS, LMS, Billing, Placement) serving 5,000+ active users.

    • + API design

Designed and implemented RESTful APIs for efficient data flow while handling concurrent user requests.

    • + Authentication & authorization

Implemented JWT-based authentication with role-based access control (RBAC) to protect APIs.

    • + Email workflows

Integrated NodeMailer with OAuth2 to deliver account verification and password-reset flows.

    • + Performance

Improved application performance by 30–40% with server-side rendering (SSR) and rendering optimizations.

    • + Reusable UI

Built reusable UI components shared across modules, cutting development time by nearly 25%.

    deps:

    • React
    • Next.js
    • Node.js

03Systems in production

The code is proprietary, so here is the problem, the architecture and the outcome. Watch the packets flow.

PID 1042 runningDistributed systems

Real-time alert pipeline

# problem
Critical fire, door and ATM alerts shared a path with high-volume panel heartbeats, so a telemetry spike could delay an emergency.
# approach
Split traffic into dedicated Event and Heartbeat RabbitMQ flows. Events are validated, classified and pushed over WebSockets to the monitoring CMS.
  1. Panel
  2. AWS Receiver
  3. PostgreSQL
  4. RabbitMQ
  5. Event Manager
  6. WebSocket → CMS

✓ exit 0 — Alerts reach 40+ operators across bank, retail and ATM sites without queueing behind telemetry.

  • WebSockets
  • AWS
PID 1139 runningReliability

Idempotent health-alert worker

# problem
Offline/restore alerts could duplicate or flip incorrectly with concurrent workers, retries and out-of-order events.
# approach
Explicit ONLINE/OFFLINE state machine, outage incident tracking with probable-cause classification, and idempotent alert emission.
  1. Heartbeat
  2. State machine
  3. Incident tracker
  4. Alert (once)

✓ exit 0 — One correct alert per outage, regardless of retries or event ordering.

  • PostgreSQL
  • RabbitMQ

9-sheet Excel bulk import

# problem
Onboarding sites, panels and cameras by hand was slow and error-prone.
# approach
Import/export pipeline with dropdown validation, preview, insert/upsert and atomic commits, plus fixes for camera de-duplication and false “updated” detection.
  1. Upload
  2. Validate
  3. Preview
  4. Upsert
  5. Atomic commit

✓ exit 0 — Safe bulk changes in one step, documented in a 60-page technical spec.

  • SQLAlchemy
  • React
  • PostgreSQL

Multi-app licensing service

# problem
Each on-premise license could only cover a single application type.
# approach
Signed .lic payload with nested app scoping, independent device/metric limits per app, endpoint-level enforcement and a catalog-driven React license form.
  1. Catalog
  2. Signed .lic
  3. App scopes
  4. Endpoint enforcement

✓ exit 0 — One license now governs web and mobile apps with separate limits.
